Whether you're going to sail the open ocean, fish your favorite coves, head out for the next big tournament or chart a course to your dream of retirement; buying a boat is the adventure of a lifetime. It is also quite possibly the second most valuable asset you will ever purchase only surpassed by your home. You can find many exceptional values in used boats, they can be affordable, seaworthy, well-built, well maintained. To make sure you get years of pleasure and adventure out of your used boat, buy smart.

It’s amazing to me when I walk down a dock how many times I see a beautiful boat tied the dock and the lines are wrapped around the dock cleat in such a way that I wonder if that person ever stopped to think how that looks to the experienced eye?
